Beighton Community Allotment Association

Welcome to the friendliest, best, most interesting, nicest allotment society in the world (probably!)

We're at Orchard Lane, Beighton, on the South East edge of Sheffield. With a hundred allotment gardens, and plot holders of all ages and from all walks of life, the one thing we have in common is we love growing things.

AGM - Sunday 26th April

This years Beighton Allotment AGM will be held on Sunday 26th April at 10am and will finish no later than 12 noon. It is a little later than usual to avoid the Easter Holidays.

As usual it will be held at the Limes Centre, Lime Street, Beighton and all plotholders (members) and up to one guest are invited. As usual, it is essential you bring your blue membership book with you as this will be the only way your vote will be registered.

Thanks to Norman

The committee would like to thank Norman Dunn for all his work over many, many years and especially during the transfer of land from the NCB and setting up of the Beighton Allotment Association.
Norman has been on a wind-down over the last year or so, slowly resigning from his roles as President, Committee member and laterly volunteering at the allotments shop.

Thanks to all the local businesses who help to keep us a community allotment site

We're on Facebook!

Day to day conversations, sales, wants, freebies even, can be found on our facebook page. Allotment holders can post and comment on any issues.

Not for this summer, but for next,
Since foresight is the gardener's text,
And though his eyes may never know
How lavishly his flowers blow,
Others will stand and musing say
"These were the flowers he sowed that May".
